Brownies
makes 22
6 tbsp (80 gr) salted butter
1 cup (175 gr) dark chocolate chips
1 egg – farm-raised
½ cup (90 gr) granulated sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/3 cup (40 gr) all-purpose flour
peanut butter
sea salt
Line a 8 in (21 cm) square baking pan with parchment paper.
Preheat the oven to 340 F / 170 C.
Melt the butter and ¾ cup (131 gr) chocolate – microwave or double boiler.
Mix together egg, sugar and vanilla extract in a large mixing bowl. Whisk in the chocolate mixture.
Add the flour and ¼ cup (44 gr) chocolate chips. Mix well until just incorporated.
Transfer the batter to the prepared pan. Arrange a few spoonful of peanut butter on top.
Bake for 30 minutes in the preheated oven.
Let cool completely before placing in the refrigerator or freezer (easy cutting).
Cut in even slices.
Use a heart shaped cookie cutter to make heart shaped brownies.
Sprinkle with sea salt and serve.
